With WAGE\u2019s support, PARO<br \/>partners with nonprofits, community leaders, and private sector allies to connect directly with women entrepreneurs.<br \/><br \/>THE GOAL: to carry out Collaboration Innovation Tables (CITs) surveys, focus groups, and interviews to better understand women\u2019s real experiences, identify gaps, and design tailored programs and policies needed to support the ongoing success of women-owned businesses. At PARO, we are particularly focused on the systemic challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.<br \/><br \/>Together with our Partners and Collaborators, we:<\/p><ul><li>Aim to address or remove the root barriers to gender equality in a system (e.g. working with institutions to change their policies and biased practices against women).<\/li><li>Do not aim to change women to fit or adapt to discriminatory systems (e.g. training women to take part in an institution\u2019s policies and practices that are biased against
