Join our dynamic team as an AI Innovation & Project Assistant Intern, playing a pivotal role in empowering womenowned Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) through the PARO Launchpad. This role combines AI research, content development, project coordination, and general program support.<\/p>

Principales responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/strong>
\uf0b7 Research AI tools, technologies, and trends relevant to women-owned SMEs and support AI adoption strategies.
\uf0b7 Help develop training materials and presentations on AI, automation, and digitization for BIZCamps and other workshops.
\uf0b7 Assist with data collection and analysis on AI adoption, business growth, and program outcomes.
\uf0b7 Provide coordination and administrative support (scheduling, calendars, communications).
\uf0b7 Assist with planning and delivering events, workshops, and networking sessions.
\uf0b7 Curate and maintain an AI resource database (funding, training, expert contacts).
\uf0b7 Support website and social media updates (stories, events, AI resources).
\uf0b7 Provide connector support for PARO Launchpad and myPAROPath tech programming
\uf0b7 Provide occasional general program support.<\/p>

Qualifications:<\/strong>
\uf0b7 University or college graduate from a related field of study such as Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data\/Business Analytics, Communications, Digital Marketing, or another related field.
\uf0b7 Strong interest in, and understanding of, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies.
\uf0b7 Highly articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\uf0b7 Socially comfortable engaging with a wide variety of people
\uf0b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
\uf0b7 Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\uf0b7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
\uf0b7 Experience with website content management and social media platforms is an asset.
\uf0b7 A personal drive towards excellence.
\uf0b7 A proactive attitude and a commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs.
\uf0b7 Excellent Information Technology, computer and Social Media skills will be considered an asset.<\/p>

\uf0b7 Be a new entrant into the work force, or transitioning to a new career, or be currently unemployed or underemployed and entering a new field
\uf0b7 Be a university or college graduate from an accredited college or university.

\uf0b7 Be at least 18 years of age; and
\uf0b7 Reside, and be legally entitled to work, in Canada.<\/p>

\uf0b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Client Engagement: <\/strong>Provide high-level counseling and mentorship to women entrepreneurs, guiding\u00a0 them\u00a0 through\u00a0 various\u00a0 stages\u00a0 of\u00a0 business\u00a0 growth\u00a0 and\u00a0 scale-up, through\u00a0 collaboration and building connections, and addressing systemic barriers to success.<\/p>

\uf0b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Event\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitation: <\/strong>Collaborate\u00a0\u00a0 on\u00a0\u00a0 planning\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 executing\u00a0 both\u00a0\u00a0 in-person\u00a0\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0 virtual learning\/networking events, including the esteemed PARO ConneX series, to identify challenges and give support for business alliances, interprovincial trade, and integrating AI and technology. Support the growth of PARO Prosper Circles to foster collaboration and connection among women entrepreneurs.<\/p>

\uf0b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitation and Dialogue: <\/strong>Lead dynamic discussions during roundtable events focused on Pan Canadian research and knowledge mobilization. Facilitate conversations that examine how\u00a0 current\u00a0 policies\u00a0 and\u00a0 programs\u00a0 within\u00a0 the\u00a0 AI\/technology\u00a0 ecosystem\u00a0 exclude\u00a0 women entrepreneurs and identify actionable strategies for creating inclusive systems.<\/p>

FinanceHER<\/strong>: <\/strong>Focused on enhancing investment readiness and access to capital, this pillar aims to improve access to funding including through PARO Prosper Circles and other sources by fostering financial acumen and developing robust funding strategies and peer support to ensure their sustainability and growth.<\/li><\/ol>

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>

    \uf0b7 Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences and facilitate productive discussions.<\/p>

    \uf0b7 Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong networks within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly among underrepresented groups.<\/p>

    \uf0b7 A deep commitment to\u00a0 promoting equity, inclusion, and sustainability in entrepreneurial practices, ensuring that all voices are heard and represented.<\/p>

    Compensation:<\/strong><\/p>

    Professional\u00a0 fees\u00a0 for\u00a0 this\u00a0 contract\u00a0 are $70K to $76K inclusive of HST based on outcomes achieved per workplan. The total contract ends on March 31, 2027. Payments\u00a0 are\u00a0 deliverable-based\u00a0 and\u00a0 contingent\u00a0 upon\u00a0 the\u00a0 successful\u00a0 completion\u00a0 of\u00a0 monthly performance milestones and the submission of impactful connectivity reports.<\/p>
