Business advisory services: a vital component of the program curriculum, PARO Toronto

Accelerator clients will also be matched with an expert Business Growth Advisor, providing one-on-one business counselling and mentoring, helping them make informed decisions, increase their competitive advantage, and achieve their objectives. To increase access for women entrepreneurs from different neighbourhoods across Toronto, including areas outside the core, clients may access Business Advisory services at one of PARO Toronto Accelerator offices (4 sites), and through PARO Toronto’s Virtual Accelerator.

Strategic financing: in addition to immersive BIZCamps, complemented by one-on-one Business Advisory Support, PARO Toronto Accelerator clients will also have increased access to strategic financing to fund their startup, growth and scale up plans. This includes access to women-centred loans of up to $50,000; as well as other funding sources including grants, loans, and investment programs. Through a partnership with the Women’s Enterprise Organizations of Canada (WEOC), PARO, as the Women’s Loan Fund Partner for Ontario, will support women entrepreneurs in all aspects of their loan applications, including completing a business plan.

PARO Toronto Accelerator clients may access online webinars supporting the development of a business plan and completion of a loan application; and one-on-one support on-site at PARO Toronto Accelerator offices (4 sites), and through PARO Toronto’s Virtual Accelerator.
