About PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise: Recognized as one of Canada’s leading support networks for women entrepreneurs, we are dedicated to strengthening women-owned small businesses, fostering community economic development, and breaking down barriers to create equitable access to resources and opportunities. We are excited to lead the Prosper Circles project, a nation-wide initiative aimed at facilitating women entrepreneur’s opportunities for interprovincial trade and form Business Alliances across multiple provinces in Canada, serving diverse and underrepresented women entrepreneurs with a focus on women in rural, remote, and Northern communities. This transformative effort focuses on providing training programs, support peer circles, and provide other business support services across designated regions. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a passionate and driven Regional Circle Coordinator to join our team and help us make a lasting impact. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative project, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future for women entrepreneurs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the formation, support, and coordination of Prosper Circles across targeted provinces and territories, in collaboration with the Circle Coordinator (where applicable);
  • Plan, host, and deliver facilitation and training for PARO ConneX trade-focused gatherings including focus on Inter-Provincial Trade, Business Alliances and Circles;
  • Facilitate and coordinate business training activities including BIZCamps including PARO Prosper Circle BIZCamps, Elevate, FoodPreneur, and She Rises cohorts;
  • Plan and deliver virtual and in-person Circle Up networking events;
  • Provide guidance and resources for women entrepreneurs to access grants, loans, and strategic advisory support;
  • Host and coordinate webinars on procurement and artificial intelligence (AI) applications for business growth;
  • Collaborate with regional partners, stakeholders, and business advisors to deliver high-impact support;
  • Maintain detailed tracking of activities, contractor recruitment, surveys, outcomes, and required reporting.

Who You Are:

  • An inclusive leader and team player who is passionate about women’s economic empowerment and community development.
  • Experienced in project coordination, event planning, and training delivery.
  • An innovative thinker who is able to develop resources to share insights on business alliances and/ or trade
  • Committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What You Bring:

  • Strong project coordination and event planning experience, ideally with dynamics that span across multiple regions.
  • Understanding of challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, particularly those from underrepresented communities, with specialized understanding of dynamics related to procurement and interprovincial trade dynamics.
  • Strong experience in collaboration experience in working with others and other organizations
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to manage virtual and in-person programming.
  • Experience with training delivery, peer mentorship models, and inclusive economic development.

Contract Terms:

This is a contract role for a project ending March 31, 2026. Compensation based on outcomes: $6,390/month (includes portion of HST).
