Working from her home base of Sault Ste. Marie, Susan is the Project Coordinator- Northern for PARO. She provides business counselling to women in the areas east from SSM to Manitoulin Island and north to White River by helping women entrepreneurs start or expand their businesses, or form PARO circles. Susan brings to PARO several years experience operating her own business as well as additional experience as a business councillor with the SSM CFDC. She has an honours degree in Community Economic and Social Development with additional specializations in Human Resources, Business and Social Welfare. In recognition of her considerable work with women, in 2015 she was awarded an ATHENA award from the SSM Chamber of Commerce.
